#32: Adapting Through Hardship

Meredith Lane Ferguson had big plans of having a career in TV Broadcasting, but after graduating with her degree she landed a job in New York that made her rethink her plan. Looking for a new career path, Meredith reached out to her mom, a Real Estate mogul (Kitty Lane), who quickly offered for Meredith to join her team back in Kentucky. A few short weeks later Meredith was licensed and working through “Kitty Bootcamp”. Now, 10 years later, Meredith is running a very successful family operated Real Estate business.

On this episode, Meredith and Kyle share similar stories of losing a loved one and the effect this can take on not only your business, but more importantly how you adapt to a new version of life without them. Adversity can be a very humbling experience and as a “go-getter” in the industry, its okay to ask for help and lean on those around you to make it through the storm.
